Baker Tilly Kirk were proud sponsors of the Dundalk FC v Shamrock Rovers League of Ireland game on Friday night at Oriel Park.
Although the game didn’t go as we’d hoped it would, it was a great day by all accounts.
We had a staff lunch hosted in the Townhouse in Dundalk that was thoroughly enjoyed by all members.
Then we were off to Oriel Park. We were hosted in the club’s boardroom and were well treated and entertained by the barman and staff. As kick off approached we took our seats and got ready to cheer on the Lilywhites. Dundalk were the better team in the first 20 minutes but a Shamrock’s goal against the run of play, followed by a Robbie Benson dismissal after 30mins put Shamrocks in the driving seat as the current champions cruised to a 4-0 win. Despite the result, our staff and our guests had a thoroughly enjoyable evening and.
